The best brake job in Imlay City

deserves to be on the map.

Right now you're the best-kept secret in town. Secrets don't get phone calls. Someone hears you do great work, searches your name, finds nothing, and calls the next shop. I fix that for a flat monthly fee, and you never have to touch a computer.

The Rumor Mill · a word-of-mouth simulator

Your best ad is a rumor. Rumors get garbled.

Type your business name and start a rumor. Watch it pass through town the way word of mouth really works, one half-remembered retelling at a time. Then see what the last person types into Google.

27%of US small businesses still have no website
30–65%of trades like repair, HVAC and plumbing have none at all
~halfof referred customers hesitate and check a competitor when they find nothing online

You already earned the referral. A website and a correct Google listing are what keep it from leaking to the shop down the road.

Where I work

Rooted in Michigan. Open to anywhere.

Found On The Map is a small local business based in Almont, and because everything happens by email, your town doesn't matter. I work with independent businesses across Michigan and anywhere in the U.S. I build every site around the towns and neighborhoods your customers search from, so a shop in Ohio or Texas gets the same local focus as one down the road.

Questions

What business owners ask

Do I have to get on a call?

No. Found On The Map works entirely by email, on purpose. It keeps the price where it is, and you can answer at 9pm instead of stopping a job.

What do you need from me?

Your services, hours, and photos if you have them. If not, I'll work from what's already public on your Google listing and you tell me what to fix.

Who owns the site?

You do. Your content, your photos and your web address are yours. If you leave, I'll send you a copy of everything.

Can you promise I'll rank first on Google?

No, and anyone who promises that is guessing. I make sure your listing is complete and accurate and that you have a real website, which is what Google and customers both look for.

How is my information handled?

I only use what you send me and what's already public about your business. I never sell it. Payments go through Stripe, so I never see your card. The full details are in the privacy policy.

Do you work with businesses outside Michigan?

Yes. I'm based in Almont, but everything is done by email, so I work with local businesses anywhere in the U.S. Your site and Google listing are built around your own town and service area.

What kinds of businesses don't you take?

Medical, legal and financial advice practices, which have extra advertising rules, plus anything illegal, adult, or built to mislead people. The full list is in the terms.

How do I cancel?

Reply "cancel" to any email. Billing stops at the end of your current month, and you keep a copy of your site.

Don't read about it. Push the buttons.

These are the things that keep working after your site goes live. Each demo below is a working model of it.

Pro plan

Missed a call? It texts them back.

You're under a car or up a ladder. The phone rings out. Most people don't leave a voicemail, they call the next shop. Missed-call text-back replies to them within seconds, so the job stays yours.

Nothing is actually dialed or sent. This runs in your browser.

Reviews that ask for themselves

After a job, your customer gets one friendly text asking for a Google review, with a link straight to the right spot. Everyone gets the same ask, whatever they think. That's how Google wants it done, and it's the honest way.

    Privacy Policy

    Last updated September 21, 2026

Found On The Map ("I", "me") builds websites and manages Google Business Profiles for local businesses. This policy explains what information I handle and what I do with it.

    What I collect

    How I use it

    What I never do

    Email

Every email I send includes my mailing address and a way to opt out. Reply "STOP" and I will not email you again. I honor opt-outs immediately.

    Automation

I use software, including AI tools, to help find businesses, draft emails and build site previews. A person reviews outgoing emails, and these tools only work with the information described above.

    Keeping and deleting information

I keep client records while you're a client and as long as tax and business law requires afterward. Prospect records for businesses that never became clients are deleted within 12 months of last contact. Email me to ask what I hold about you or to have it deleted, and I will respond within 30 days.

    Security

Accounts are protected with strong passwords and two-factor authentication, and access is limited to what's needed to do the work. No system is perfectly secure, and I'll notify affected clients promptly if a breach affects their information.

    Children

My services are for businesses. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

    Changes and contact

If this policy changes, I'll update the date above and email clients about significant changes. Questions: [email protected] · PO Box 17, Almont, MI 48003.

    Terms of Service

    Last updated September 21, 2026

These terms apply when a business ("you") uses Found On The Map ("I", "me") for a website, Google Business Profile management, or related add-ons. By paying for a plan you agree to them.

    The service

I build and host a website for your business, set up and maintain your Google Business Profile, and provide the other features of the plan you choose. Work is done by email. Free previews carry no obligation.

    Billing and cancelling

    Ownership

    Your responsibilities

    What I won't build

I may decline or remove content that is illegal, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, infringes someone else's trademark or copyright, impersonates another business, includes fake or paid reviews, or makes medical, legal or financial claims. I don't take on businesses in those fields or any business whose main purpose is misleading people.

    No guarantees on results

I'll do the work carefully and honestly, but I can't guarantee search rankings, call volume or sales, which depend on Google and on factors outside my control.

    Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, my total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid me in the three months before it arose, and I'm not liable for lost profits or indirect damages. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.

    Changes, disputes and contact

I'll email clients at least 30 days before any change to these terms or to your price. These terms are governed by Michigan law. Questions: [email protected] · PO Box 17, Almont, MI 48003.
